The Epic Tale of Rodney and John, Two Girl Scout Cookies in Love by bitter_crimson is the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

John the slutty Thin Mint meets Rodney the grumpy Samoa after a factory mix-up. Angst and romance and hot sex ensue. All illustrated :D

I just saw the MGM trailer for Last Man, and all I can say is WTF, TPTB, WTF?

How can they possibly think that this is a good idea? She's, like, twelve!

No wonder Joe Mallozzi kept insisting that nothing had happened between Jennifer and Ronon when people called him on it after Trio.

This has the potential to be so much worse than Katie. Argh!

Joe Mallozzi recently received a question over at his blog about which TV series he's currently following. It turned out that he doesn't watch any of the shows he was asked about, so he included a list of the ones he *does* watch but which weren't mentioned.

I couldn't help but notice that the first category includes most of the science fiction shows currently on air. And the second doesn't include any. Now, I'm aware that he's a fan of written SF, but the fact that he's not following *any* shows in the same genre as Stargate seems to indicate pretty obviously that, at least as far as media fandom goes, he's not one of us.

Which in turn explains *so much* about his attitude towards fans.
